My Grandmother's Sock

Ranked among the highest valued items of all times is Clarita Soares's sock. (It's value was seconded only to her used tissue, it's value somewhere around $.10,009,050,021.96.) The awe-inspiring article of clothing sold for a whopping 8,000,000,002. To Clarita's great dismay, it was not her who received riches for her sock.

On the night of December 24, 1556, Mrs. Soares was residing at a luxurious hotel, relaxing in bed.
She was reading a complex, intense, tragic novel called "Clifford Barks!", part of the Clifford: the Big Red Dog series. Suddenly, she bolted up in bed. It had just hit Mrs. Soares that her sock was not upon her foot. She must have accidentally sent it to the laundry women. THE HORROR!

Downstairs, a maid sighed and yanked out another article of clothing to be washed. Her chubby hands reached over to drop it into the washing machine, when...
Her large green eyes widened. The sight before her was unbelievable. It was a thick, turqoiuse sock, a few holes in it here and there. A grass stain lay on top of the toe area, and a tooth mark around the ankle. "This must be Clarita's legendary sock!" She thought, adrenaline rushing, heart pumping faster than a snail can run.

So she sold it. Clarita learned a valuable lesson.

In the maid's own words, "FINDERS, KEEPERS, LOSERS, WEEPERS!!! NYEEAH! HA HA HA!!!"

Good story, so your Grandma was famous how interesting is that. Who has her sock now, and why does the maid always get off the best in stories?
